I'm New
We’re so excited to welcome you! Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to make it as smooth as possible. Whether you're new to faith, exploring, or looking for a church family, we want you to feel at home. Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.
Pastors Welcome
Welcome to Pilgrim Congregational Church, United Church of Christ! Thank you for visiting our website to learn a bit about us. Hospitality is a value that we hold dear. If you decide to come to a Sunday service, you will be met with a huge (figurative) embrace. Many people who have joined us at a Sunday morning service have told me that they felt very welcomed and comfortable. Some have said that they felt peace in our sanctuary. Others have said that the Holy Spirit felt very present during our service. As the pastor at Pilgrim, I'm excited to meet you and listen to your spiritual needs and your faith story. Please check out my welcome video on this website for more details about our church and denomination. There is a place for you at Pilgrim Church, UCC.

Come as you are! Our church has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, so whether you prefer casual or dressy, you'll fit right in.
We have ample free parking available on the church grounds. Designated handicapped parking spaces are located adjacent to the two main entrances of the church.
Our worship service, meeting spaces, and Fellowship Hall are accessible to all. There is a ramp as well as stairs at both entrances to the building. We have accessible spaces for wheelchairs in the sanctuary (the place where we hold our services) and accessible restrooms. We also have a gender neutral restroom.
We welcome all children in our worship service. The cry of a baby or a word from a toddler is met with joy. We have a room (parlor) across from the sanctuary with lots of toys to use during the service and individual "trays" of art supplies for children to use during the service while sitting with their parents.
Our services typically last about one hour, including worship, a message, and some time for reflection.
Our worship service begins and ends with music and includes hymns during the service, which offers prayer, Bible readings and a sermon from the pastor. We collect an offering (donations), and at times there might be a mission moment, a guest speaker, a children's time, or a baptism. We leave room for the Spirit in our services.
We do, on the first Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome to receive the bread and the cup (grape juice) - we have an open table.
No need to bring anything but your wonderful self!
