Teams at Pilgrim Church
Community Life provides congregational care, by organizing and supporting church events with food; celebrating milestones in the lives of members, staff, and the church; organizing seasonal and church calendar events like the Green Auction for St. Patrick’s Day.
Diaconate helps our Pastor provide exceptional worship services by ushering and assisting with readings as liturgists, and advises the Pastor about all things related to providing a meaningful Christian worship experience.
Education/Faith Formation is largely provided through lay and Pastor leadership of Bible studies and other adult education activities that expand the congregation’s understanding of Christianity, especially as practiced within the United Church of Christ. Youth educational activities are provided when needed.
Operational Stewardship leads the raising of funds (stewardship), and oversees all operational aspects of keeping our church doors open and the property functioning well.
World Care team coordinates church-wide participation in outreach and social justice activities, such as the Nashua Pride Parade and Nashua Crop Walk, and chooses where to make donations, such as food collections for the Nashua Soup Kitchen or Sunday special collections for various needs like United Church of Christ assistance for disaster relief throughout the world.
