Our worship ministries are a coordinated effort between our pastor and our Diaconate. Together, they plan worship programs throughout the year, and look to reach out, advertise, and communicate our ministry to non-members and visitors in the community. This includes planning and overseeing regular and special worship services throughout the year.
Our music program is supervised by our Interim Music Director, Chris Gantner, in cooperation with our Diaconate. Our choir sings regularly at Sunday services, and also at special services. We also have many special events in which the entire congregation is encouraged to join in, such as annual Christmas caroling. Feel free to contact Chris if you have any questions about the music program in general, or if you would like to participate in any part of our music ministry. We are always looking for new talent!
The World Care Team is responsible for planning the missions work of the church. This includes organizing volunteer efforts and distributing funds outside the church. As stewards of God’s creation, we believe that we are called to witness to our faith through the giving of our time, talents, and treasure—all of which make God’s love visible and real. We encourage our members and friends to give generously to our church and its ministry within and beyond our walls.
Little Pilgrim School
Little Pilgrim School (or LPS) is a state-certified preschool originally started in 1959 by a group of Pilgrim Church women, citing the lack of kindergarden and preschool classes in Nashua at that time. LPS now runs weekday-morning programs with a wide variety of activities for two-, three-, and four-year-old children. Little Pilgrim School is located in the north end of our building, in the new classroom wing.
